Anyone still play in Illinois???

Hey all,
I bought a Minbari fleet a long while ago, but have never played the game - I was looking at the new second edition books and was wondering if anyone still played at Games Plus in Illinois? The website link from the store hasn't had a post since September. Also, I really like the idea of buying a Psi Corp fleet - do they get to use any of the Earth Alliance ships or are they only relegated to what Mongoose has posted to the Psi Corps page on the website? How hard is a Psi Corp fleet to use? And for a typical game, how much more would I need to buy past the initial starter box?

The guys mentioned earlier (Ripple, Davesaint, Prelude to War) are regulars at Games Plus and are currently playing a B5:ACTA campaign.

Yeah we still get together and play at least once a week, campaign or pick up. Monday night, thursday night and saturday afternoon we usually play something.

It would probably be around 30 minutes or so depending on traffic.

The store is off Rt. 30 going east past the mall. It is in a stripmall before you get to the dollar store and after the car wash on right hand side.. It's called Patriot Games or Strategic Game Command..

A bunch of us are getting ready to start a campaign in November. Most of the guys usually play on the weekends like saturday. Come check it out.

I should be there this Saturday, but I usually play Hordes/Warmachine, but I may bring my Minbari to try out the game - I just got the rule book and fleet book (the fleet book is a piece of garbage, the binding is already coming undone). I was thinking of buying psi corp and I had a question on fleet composition - If say I'm playing a 5 point war level game (is that pretty standard?), I was confused in point splitting - Could one point be a hunter and 4 carriers? Or do I have to have a hunter, a mothership and 2 carriers?

It would have to be a hunder, a mothership, and 2 carriers. I'll bring my stuff down on Saturday. I have Centauri, EA, and ISA.

Funny....I just joined up with the War Machine crowd. I'll be there as well. Be interesting to see how the Psi Corp hold up as my EA have morphed in that direction.
