Anyone play online?

I find that you get far too much out of game chat in a voice game... which makes it DRAG horrendously slow... and it is also massively annoying when you get some joker who decides that he wants to be funny during serious business :P
A pbp is slow, but if you have committed players who understand that a pbp is slow, then you still get great fun. Sure they have a higher turnover than normal, but it normally works out fine. For instance I have a BSG game which has been running a year (and five missions) where I still have two original players, and a lot of interest every time I ask for new ones.

We have no problem in our Skype games and they move along as quickly as my face-to-face games. Have some ground rules going in as GM and there is usually no problem. Typing is too slow to keep many people's interest and PBP doesn't interest me personally at all.
