Anyone had any Luck with the Psi Corps?

Before I went out and bought some more ships (besides the Shadow Omega)... I was wondering anyone had tested the Psi Corps list out, and seen if It was a decent list.

Inidividually theyve got some nasty ships and truly horrific fighters but how they work in the field only time will tell I guess :D

I've played a couple of battles with them.

Despite the low stealth it can really work in their favour sometimes. I've not managed to find a point where their psychic crew has worked (except to jam a shadow ship, which was cool).

Black Omegas were nasty with good dogfighting and the ability to survive anti-fighter fire. Shadowcloaks are nippy little scouts.

I've had a fighter carrier survive frightening enemy fire through a luck stealth roll in two games, while dishing out remarkable damage in return. Not bad for a skirmish ship that lacks real firepower.

at raid PL or below i find they play like raiders but with better fighters, however less of them. its not until you get to battle level and above that you get to the good ships in the corps fleet (which are not psi-corps ships anyway)

I'm currently in a campaign playing Centauri vs an Abbai and a Psi Corps fleet, and the Psi Corps was doing pretty well until last turn, when he had to fight both of us (he attacked my Industrial world, the abbai attacked his) and took a bit of a kicking. He still holds 3 of the 7 Targets -including one of the Industrial Worlds- but he hasn't got enough RR to replace what he lost.

Having to deal with the stealth has been interesting, and a little aggravating at times, but at least his stealth isn't as good as the Minbari. The really kickarse fighters he's got hasn't been much of a problem for either of us, we both have plenty of Anti-fighter or Twin-Linked weapons to throw at them. Most annoying thing so far has been his ability to roll big crits right when he needs em, but then he did it in 1st Edition too :P

The Shadow Omega didn't seem that impressive, but then it was caught in an ambush and died before it could line up its boresight, so didn't really get to see it in action.

On another note, the Brivoki is a beast vs smaller ships (smaller ships in this case being from about Battle level down), I currently have my Adira out hunting for the little bastard to add to it's trophy wall of Armageddon level kills, right beside the Nemesis, Victory and Ka'Bin'Tak.
