I already do a lot of commissions for Flames of War, so I am sure I could do custom orders for B5 ships as well. B5 is some of my favorite Sci-fi so it would be a cool change from WWII stuff.

Trying to work out an effective way to simulate panels without an actual texture as I type this...

PM me a list of what you want done up, I can give you a rough idea of what you would be looking at.

Assuming this sort of thing is alloud on the forums of course.

It was never truly finished. Applied basic shading, no highlights. Sorry :P

Dark Angel

I didn't mean a lack of highlights, I meant physically flat, I think the tips of the 'wings' should be lower if you get what I mean.

Oh, well, if I had read your post entirely, I would have figured that out.

The wings were a horrid, horrid experience. They didn't fit in the grooves, refused to set anywhere, had no guidelines or markings to go off of, and the contact point is really small for something that is rather easy to bump into.

Plus, none of my pins would hold. It was horrid.

I suspect I'll have the same problems if I ever build mine. also, i realised just afterI posted that I meant anhedral not dihedral.

Easy mistake to make.

Either way, you are more proficient in geometry than I :)

LBH, I challenge you: build enough ships to be able to fight a 5 point War by the end of the year. I know you can do it :)

Your reward, if you complete, will be a text cookie.

Hint:
Put them in upside down. They will actually hold based on gravity alone that way. Then you glue them in place (and use LOTS of glue) and no need for pins...

Has worked very well for both my Victories...

Technically all I need is 2 VCDs (1 with Sheridan, or any other Admiral) and a Battle level ship, say a WSC-Gunship. Only 3 ships, plus technically 12 flights of T'bolts or Furies and a WS Fighter flight.

Even at that little I'll never manage it, I'm ony at home for a week, and it's too cold to paint here.

NO COOKIE FOR YOU!

Only home for a week? You should have a part of your laptop where you have a paint rack and a stand to put your model on, with a clip to store your paintbrush. Drink most of a bottle of water, cut out a cup, and you're set!

Upside down... I have a feeling it wouldn't look the same...

If you look at my Victories, you'll see that one has a wing with the crenellation visible, and the other has a wing with the crenellation missing and just a single raised line of Silver. The crenellation is supposed to be UP. Best I can figure, anyway. Flip the wings so the wingtips still point the same way but the crenellation is missing and you'll have no more problem with them staying put.

LBH, WTH do you do?
