Hello all,
Going through the CRB 1st Spacecraft Design rules I compared the Ship Software table with the software in CT LBB 2 Starships p. 25 TAS FORM 3 (Reverse) and p. 41 Computer Software List.
The CT LBB 2 Anti-Hijack software is the only one I could not match up those listed in the Ship Software Table on CRB 1st ed. p. 113 and CRB 2nd p. 151. The difference I see is that MgT Program Rating/Bandwidth is 5 times that of the CT LBB 2 Program space. Here is a partial suggestion for adding Anti-hijacking software.
Program: Anti-Hijack; Rating: 5; TL 7; Cost (MCr.) 0.1
Effect: The program is designed to counter high jacking attempts by monitoring conditions onboard the ship. Any monitored conditions that fail to meet the established criteria results in the program automatically locking the access doors to the bridge and engineering. Additionally the program locks out the ship's controls. A person with computer skills with or without an intrusion program can defeat the program.
Unfortunately, I'm not familiar enough with any of the MgT rules other than ship design, which I am still working through.
