I hope it is better than the older animal book and has a lots of examples of animals in it and make it lot bigger but not as complex as the world Builder Handbook
I like the simplicity of the 1st edition animal encounters book. The only thing I would like to see added is better modifiers based on planetary conditions. The "terrain preferences" works okay until it doesn't (generating an aquatic fish that only swims hanging out on mountain.) It's a sci-fi world so anything is possible I guess. But if they do and it is as complex as the WBH full of mathematical equations to determine the size of the creature's left eyeball compared to the right when looking at it from an elevation of 30 degrees at 75 meters, I'm out.
