I'd like to interrupt the normal discussion of traveller to make an apology to the board, and to those members of SFRPG/SPICA who got offended by my posts on the (thankfully) deleted thread. atpollard, Dave chase, and whoever else I laid into on what was just intended to be a request for contact with the SPICA admins: I'm sorry. No excuses, I got unreasonably steamed, and acted like a Jerk.
Believe it or not, the same to EDG -we don't get along, true, but I seem to be all too easily steamed by our history, and that catches me by surprise, even now. I jumped at his assumed behavior without due consideration or thought; regardless of our history, no one deserves that. Turns out, I was in the wrong.
For the cynics, I'd just say that this isn't a mandated apology, or an attempt to weasel back on. I'm off the SPICA/SFRPG boards, and it wasn't just EDG's action or decision - and it's a good thing for all our sanity.
SFRPG is a nice place, this shouldn't reflect on it; just me and an odd red button I seem to have grown.
