Anyone know where I can find miniatures for VaS cheap. I do not need a lot of detail, but they should at least be decent. I had a website once, but I cannot find it know.

Here's a site where you can get 1/3000 cheap. Selection probably isn't quite as good as Panzerschiffe, but they are even cheaper!

One thing.. Warweb will end up ordering your minis from Skytrex, so cutting out the middle man might be advised in that case. Skytrex is very good at low-cost shipping.

I'll vote for Panzerschiffe as well. Plastic ships with less detail than GHQ, but far more affordable (you did mention cheap, correct?).

Actually, you're better off ordering from Warweb than direct from Skytrex.

Skytrex charges 20% shipping to the U.S.. On top of that you get killed by the exchange rate.

For example: If you order a KGV from Skytrex direct, you pay 1.4 pounds list.

So already you're looking at $2.80 more or less. On top of that they're going to charge you $0.56 for shipping, so you're looking at $3.36 for the model. In addition, your credit card is going to charge you some amount of money for the currency conversion.

As opposed to Warweb. . where you will pay less than $2 + reasonable shipping (certainly not 20% of your order value!)

So. . . for people in the states, ordering direct from Skytrex is a VERY bad deal.
