So I bought a few more toys for my Hawkwood fleet at the tourney.
In summary I now have
2 Fleet boxes
An additional Malcolm Carrier
2 Vladimirs
a Dreadnought
An Osprey on preorder
2 packs of Kestrels
1 pack of Fitzhughs
The eagle eyed and numerically minded amongst you might have noticed what I realised this morning, since the Osprey carries 18 fighters and not 12 like I thought yesterday I now no longer have enough fighters to fill out my hangars completely.
I can carry 42 fighters, I have 36, 16 Fitzhughs and 20 Kestrels. one more pack of either should top me off nicely but I'm thinking Fitzhughs, more Kestrels would be too bomber heavy I think. Comments on that choice?
Either way I'm sure if I ring up Matt with my credit card he'll add a pack of whichever type to my Osprey when it heads my way. (Matt, expect my call later this week
)
And to put all that into another context, with another pack of either type of fighters I'll have either 5180 or 5220 points, 3600 of that without taking carriers or fighters.
To put that in terms that Kat would understand, that's about 8 and a half and a bit Dreadnoughts, or 6 Dreadnoughts worth of stuff without carriers and fighters
