And The best one, My wife here who travelled 600 miles from school to spend a week with me.

Well, as far as material things, I got jack except for what was posted. But as my wife pointed out, a grand's worth of B5 minis that I purchased out of our limited discretionary funds right around my birthday counts as a LOT of Christmas gifts, so I only got everything else...

But this last item I can beat: My wife traveled from Monterrey, CA to Backwoods, PA to spend the holidays with me. So :P

Paranoia (the computer is good. The computer is never on Santas naughty list. Trust the computer)
2 copies of the QI book (to go with the 2 I got last year  )
Weird Al CD
Tickets for Avenue Q
A CSI facial reconstruction kit
A mail order I placed 4 months ago
A new RP group that wants me to run a Ravenloft game

It still needs quite a bit of "Green Stuuf" to get it in shape, but she is together.

I would like to hope that the mo-Ship is a scratchbuild, or some well crafted pasty, what, with me being promised one as soon as they are avaialable. However, it may be time to go on the rampage in swindon

I probably only have mine already because I'm only a few hours from the casting facility in Ohio. Fear not Hiff, it would appear that they are on their way.

Ooh. Hiff is gonna be angry - he was promised the second one off the press for his perseverance and patience in waiting 2 years to get it, the first going to Mongoose Towers.

He probably will, I just happen to be closer.

Anger seems so wasted. Potentially the mothership could be wasted too as everyone round here seems to have sacked off ACTA. dunno why, just seems to be looking very very poorly. Think Nomad might be up for a game if we can both get the same weekend free.

We lost a number of folks at second ed, and a few more at the price change. Kinda sad really, as the basic mechanic is still good.

Flames of war also drew off a few folks before that so we may just be falling below critical mass locally.

think it's the stock issues that may have got to people here. Even Alexs' special delivery of the big ID order has never arrived :-(, so still no g'vrahns, ka'bin'taks, gaim, drakh etc...

Were about do you guys come from? ACTA is raging out of control in our parts, being the midlands, is that to far for you guys to get to?

Oh and as far as satan claus goes, I also got an episode 3 clone trooper helmet, to kick start my episode 3 clone trooper armour - being a member of the UKG and all that. Oh and my dad buggered off to thailand.

north west. manchester, local(ish) gaming store ID. OK, Fanboy3 is closer, but is more card based than mini based.

I could give you a run down of the ACTA players past and present, there are a lot more past.. than present!

Well if ACTA is suffering a little in your area, and you are struggling to get games in, we normally have A person that can't get a game in. ACTA is begining to become its own subdivision in our club.

Fortunately walsall is pretty much right off the m6, unfortunately our club is on fridays from 6-10pm, having said that at least 4 of us have our own tables.

Any of you are more welcome if it works for you; give us a shout.

BAH! Easy enough to do both. In fact, that's how I got started in minis, playing FOW, met a fellow who liked ACTA (David Anla'Shok) and I obtained many EA ships over the last six months.

Still play FOW. I have four events at the next local con.

I Too play Both games as does David anlashok. It fairly easy to do in practice but not on the pocket book. I totalled it up and sicne ive been back from iraq ive spent 7000 on minis between mongoose and battlefront.

yeah, the cash became an issue for folks...

sadly we can't get to you UK folks to play... we're chicago based...

that and time, most of us have cut our table top time down... so have to pick and choose. Once a month or so is dead game weak where we pull out old favorites. Dave runs fencing events a lot now, new kids for the northern guys, house projects for me... just more stuff to do, less time for games, so competition got hotter.
