Alien Books

Mongoose
I just purchased Alien Book 4: Zhodani and it was a real pleasure to look at, i have not read everything, but this far it is amazLing (with a capital L :D ). A big cheer to the author and I hope to see more of these books published in the near future.

For those who have bought the other Alien books, do that keep the same standard and are all of them hardback (something I really loved with the Zhodani Book)?

The other books are better than Book 4. Not to say that Zhodani is bad (it's not, apart from the art work), but that the others are even better. Aslan and Vargr have fun Character Creation options.

Yep, the Alien Modules are very good, even the weakest, IMHO Sword Worlds (though some of that might just be my different perceptions of the Swordies, and a limited acquaintance with the old Trav Canon), is still good.

I've been wondering for awhile what kind of "spin" Mongoose would put on the Droyne. Their version of Secret of the Ancients was very much darker and more epic than I expected but after going through it, I thought it was awesome. Mongoose's treatments of Trav aliens is definitely my cup of tea. Looking forward to their update of the "The Traveller Adventure".
