After Castrobancla, What Next?

I created Castrobancla as a setting for a book that I submitted to Matthew for a proposed Book 11, back when it was Traveller 1e and Traveller Second Edition was closer than I thought.

Point being, the book did not need an example setting, so Castrobancla went. And a friend of mine begged me on his knees to keep it and publish it some day. It was just too good to just throw away. So I kept it, polished it, added some new bits, refined it for 2e and now you can enjoy visiting Castrobancla too.

I'm perfectly happy to retool my proposed Alien book, and rewrite it from scratch if need be. I didn't include the standard 3I alien races in that proposed book because they were already outlined in the core rulebook at the time - since most of them aren't in Second Edition, they may have to be installed there too.

But right now, I am happy to put all thought of aliens off to one side and look at something else. I've got all these articles that I wrote up for Signs & Portents; if I retool them for Second Edition, update the rules, made a few changes here and there, and added some new material based on posts I have done recently here, do you think there would be any interest in my articles on non-lethal weapons, tailoring, old flames and so on if I gussied them up a bit and repackaged them for release through TAS?

Along the shore the cloud waves break,
The twin suns sink behind the lake,
The shadows lengthen
In Carcosa.
Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa.
Songs that the Hyades shall sing,
Where flap the tatters of the King,
Must die unheard in
Dim Carcosa.
Song of my soul, my voice is dead,
Die thou, unsung, as tears unshed
Shall dry and die in
Lost Carcosa.

Alex;

After reading the first book, I would encourage you to continue to expand your line of products. Explore more aliens, any of the other topics you listed as well. I think you should keep going. :D
