yep that true,

Still we had some turns were, we rolled buckets loads of dices for no results.

The playing surfaces was a painted board, which is also used for WW1/WW2 air combat

ok I could not tell thanks. I use a large blue cloth because most of my games are away. Then at cons I play on tables as big as 8'x15' .

Looks good and fun, and I agree, battle got stuck in a bit too close.. As the Kriegsmarine player I would have tried to keep some range.
