Howdy, long time lurker, first time poster:

Anyway, I'm planning in the next couple of weeks to run a Babylon 5 game. I was going to do another type of game, but then I got my hands on the Earthforce Campaign Book and looked at the adventure in it. I figured it would make a great story arc for some first time people. I was wondering if anyone had done this, and what stories did you use to fill in the gaps.

Also, if anyone has some great adventure ideas, please share :D

Thanks,

I ran a pretty good Earthforce campaign a while back. The party were basicaly the command team on a Hyperion on the eve of the Earth Mimbari conflict. The expression on the PC's faces was priceless when they realised what was going to go down.

Basicaly I started them off at an EA starbase. From this they went on 'exercise' where they learnt how to use the ship (basicaly drills and the like). After completing this I put them in a wargame situation against another couple of EA vessles. From this I then moved onto a patrol.

While on patrol the PC's picked up a garbled communique about some kind of attack on an EA fleet. A few minuites later the sensor officer picked up a contact on the long range sensors :D.

It ended up being an awesome campaign thought. The PC's ship took massive amounts of damage but survived. The best bit was were the engineer went EVA trying to get to the stern of the ship only to be informed that the other half of the ship was futher away than it should be (basicaly the Hyperion got chopped in half).

The party then ended up hiding out in an asteroid field trying to repair the damage (How do you glue a Hyperion cruiser back togther again?). The PC's had a good laugh but most of them ended up dying in the Battle of the Line.
