Winter is coming (at least on the Northern hemisphere) - what better to do than to run a thoroughly playtested adventure on a cold, snow covered planet? Here comes Hard Shell:
Battle dresses: Powerful suits of armour that! With their strong servomotors, thick armour plates and powerful sensors, they transform their wearers into almost invulnerable super soldiers. The Imperial military doesn't like to see this kind of equipment fall into non-military hands - black market prices are exorbitant.
When the player characters learn that some battle dresses have been dusting off for many years in a long-forgotten research station due to a booking error in the Imperial bureaucracy, it is clear how they can pay for the long overdue next installment for their spaceship.
The coup seems to be child's play. And even Imperial restricted areas, duty-conscious space fleet officers, crazy scientists, fanatic Imperial marines, greedy pirates and eerie alien life-forms won't be be able to stop the player characters.
Or will they?
Hard Shell is a science fiction adventure and comes with full description, maps, plans, and stats for the Cepheus Engine. It is set in a standard 2d6 science fiction universe, but can easily be converted to other settings.
