Additional old-looking cars for terrain

I found the jada toys 1/64 scale cars this weekend. They're from the "For Sale" line and are supposed to be older, rusting cars that are... for sale! What's neat is that they are already painted dusty, rusty and old. Check out these photos. I found a couple at Walmart for $3.50. Kinda pricey, but saves you the hassle of melting, smashing and weathering any other cars you buy new. There are 12 in all. Here's a couple of 'em:

Old VW Bus:

A Div Cruiser:

And an old Mustang:

Yuppers, I bought several of the "For Sale" cars a few days back just for that reason (one is a Chevy Corvette that looks great for BFE). :D

they look abit small, more like 1:72scale wich is to small to hide behind. of course i could be wrong.

hmm might be,, their measurments aren't all that clear,, still pretty cheap if one manages to get it wrong, and you could always pass them on to one of those 20mm gamers

Here's the link to the 1/64 scale "For Sale" jada toys website.

I have the 1970 Ford Mustang in hand. It measures 3 1/4 inches long and 7/8 of an inch tall at the peak of its rooftop. These cars a definitely larger than a standard "Hotwheel" or "Matchbox" car.

a 1970s mustang was 181.6" long i think, divide that(182) by 3,25, and you get 56.. so it's 1/56,
for 1/64 it should be about 7 cms

May very well be true, but the company is pushing them as 1/64. I'm actually hoping these are closer to the BFevo minis because I have some 1/64 NASCAR vehicles that look TINY to me. Judging by those, I'm thinking these "For Sale" cars will work better. Hopefully we'll know for sure in two days :D .

Oh, those are great. All that's missing are the cement blocks and confederate flag. :) There are about six WalMarts around here, I'm going to hit them all tomorrow.

hmmmmmm

well if their that big ad warn anybody to hold of a little till we see some scale comparison pics.a hwwmv in 1:65 scale measures 2" 13/16 although my meaurings a bit drunk at mo !

but in mm its 70mm long if that helps, this is from a vehicle from a range that is collectors and produce a M1A1 that is the same dimensions as the mongoose M1A2
