Of course but you have to get through dodge/AA/CBD's I love how there perfect for it only 2 weapons!

lol you really need to play the game more. to get the lucky crit you only have to get through the dodge. AA and CBD have no effect on any traits being removed.
also WS gunships really shouldnt be on CBD with 8AD of pulsars to call on as well.

I average a game every 5 days what do you recommend then once a day? lol

Well based on your current questions on the board I recommend repeated readings and analysis of the rules.

LBH

I ask because what is written is AS IS, and what should be is often referred to NOT AS WRITTEN. So I ask for input. If we all viewed things the same way things in life would be different. And just because a games tester disagree's with me doesn't mean am going to go away specially when a great many of the people I actually game with agree that it is going too far with the onion saves.

It doesn't change the fact that the onion saves of the ISA are perfect for them and fit nicely into how they play.

If your going to say people shouldn't ask questions then why is there a forum at all surly this place is to talk and start a debate and talk about rules interpretations? There are both strong arguements for AS IS WRITTEN and common sense. Or to argue about the superior car!

Okay, dodge prevents hits, which of course prevents crits as a bi-product. However, since Adaptive armour can not prevent the effect of the hit (such as ship moves adrift, or Weapons offline) and Close all blast doors will prevent damage as well, but still not the effect, and if you loose the ability to preform special actions, Close all blast doors will cease fucntioning. Since the effects are quite often more severe then the damage that is caused as a side effect of the crit then White stars period are suddenly less impressive.

Joe_Dracos : its not all its cracked up to be. One solid hit and its in trouble.

Yeah with a hammer you would be right there!

mmm, sarcasm.... a good hit is a good hit, can't sarcasm you way out of that, no matter how unlucky you are. A good hit would be concidered after dodge rolls have been made.... and you can always precise the poor bugger to death.

Joe_Dracos : WS ships you don't kill the ship, you kill the crew.

Unfortunatly true, I mean as if you would put so few crew on so that was the case. It might not be so annoying if they didn't have flight computers.

I'd rather face of against the gun ship than the scout army!

Yeah, the fact that they have flight computers is annoying. Fortunatle the skeleton crew threshold is rather small so killing everybody is not difficult.

GO MISSILES GO!!! Wooo Precise![/quote]
