[ACTASF] NO tournament at Origins this year

It's been brought to my attention that I have not updated this schedule.
Sorry, mea culpa.

For reason not germaine to this discussion board - I will not be running an ACTASF tournament at Origins this year, after all.
Sorry for any inconvenience this causes anyone.

I am already planning to do an even bigger tournament at NashCon in 2014 and plan to follow it up with another at Origins 2014.


As for this years attendance, I do plan to be at Origins and do plan to run several events:

ACTASF Demos:
30-40 minutes each, 2 Fed versus 2 Klingons - Held in the open gaming area of the miniatures hall and available for anyone who walks up and asks to be taught.
Wednesday, 6/12 from 10 a.m. til 2 p.m.
Thursday, 6/13 from 10 a.m. til 12 p.m.

ACTASF - Bring and battle, pick up games.
Wednesday, 6/12 from 6 p.m. til 10 p.m.
Thursday, 6/13 from 6 p.m. til 10 p.m.
I will have 3 to 4 maps (4' x 4') and loads of terrain features -as well as my minis for use (if needed)

Anyone who wants to play can get in a game using their own minis if they have them - mine if they don't.

ACTASF - The Battle for Kh'rtis Rock
Everyone who was unable to attend Nashcon is asking for a chance to play in this scenario.
And who am I to go against the wishes of the populace?

I will have this game set-up on Saturday 6/15 from noon til 6:00 p.m. (longer if everyone is having a good time and the battle hasn't been decided).

This game will use my maps, my terrain, my minis, and my ship cards - but anyone can play.

In a late breaking development... emphasis on "breaking"
I had an accident at work yesterday and managed to break my coccyx.
This injury makes sitting quite the "pain in the tuchas!" :wink:

I don't think I will be up to a 6+ hour drive to Origins next week.
Sadly, this means that I will not be attending after all.

Sorry to hear that Tony - hope you recover quickly.

So with you damaging your tail bone and SVC breaking himself in the shower a little while ago, should we worry about other top chaps in the SFU family?

Only one of them... as everyone knows; Bad news comes in threes!

So everyone involved should worry... at least unti lthe next person is injured. After that the rest of them are homefree! :lol:

Well everyone is home free then. I am out just spent a week in sickbay myself. Though technically I could be at Origins I just blew my week of vacation...
