ACTA SF: Ships painted my way.

My attempt at painting Federation ships worthy of gaming with. I will put numbers and such on latter when I have all the designations.

I like the saucer details.. You managed to get the goves to come out really good without looking flooded with ink..

Black primer then drybrush with white against the grain so to speak.

I had allready assembled and painted the minis before i saw pics of the ships then i noticed that.
but I do not wish to destroy the minis to correct this. So as you say in my universe the arms fit that way. Think alternate universe Star Fleet. its not a big deal to me as they still work well in the game, maybe the new design gives me a +1. If it really worked even the Feds would make those changes in there design.

Don't worry about it. I did a batch of Fed ships with the areas that are normally a lighter grey in dark grey by accident due to a brain fart. By the time I discovered it, there was no way I was going to redo 6+ ships... oh well, they look good still.

Actually I noticed them right off and said, now thats a cool ideal.

I have a ideal for a kitbash and am probably going to align the nacells just like this.

Same here. That was the first thing I noticed (before the quality of the paint job even) and I thought; "Now that's a cool idea!"

Than I started trying to think of a way to modify our decals <shameless plug off> to work with sideways nacelles.

are you sure?, have you seen the furor that errupts should an extra phaser bump appear on a cad! SC will be putting on his combat gear now, and packing his tazers...

What you do to your minis after you get them is your business. You can paint them sky-blue with purple polka-dots and as long as you can live with the consequences, all is well. We just want them to be right when you get them.

So no, SVC won't show up to snatch your minis out of your hand and all I will do is drool on any purple ones!

(If you'd seen this Orion ship and her shuttles, you might realize SVC has a sense of humor.)
