Yes. I put several asteroids in each patch to ensure people figured that out. I explained the odds of them traversing the fields if they wanted to try it, which no one did. Though that Fed DN captain did consider it to evade the Klingons on his tail. But he didn't like that 1/3rd chance of 12-16 dice of damage, especially since he had weakened shields.
I wish I could have gotten better pics, but I was pretty busy. One of the players did get more pics, and he said he would send me some. If he does, I'll edit the report and try to include some of his pics.
