ACTA:SF quickstart rulebooks available as spare parts?

Will the ACTA:SF quickstart rules from the Fleet Box set be available for purchase separately as "spare parts"? I plan on running demonstrations of the game to help find opponents, and having extra rulebooks to loan out during demos would be very handy. I don't want people getting pizza grease on my preciousssss, errr, my hardcover ACTA:SF rules.

No plans as yet - each will actually be tailored for the fleet box it goes in, so as a general rulebook, you'll want the hardback.

The 40K Black Reach / WFB minirulebooks are a godsend - although sadly not available on their own. Sorry its not a proper rules book :(

I can understand that each Fleet Box would get a tailored mini Rulebook. But it seems like the Klingon and Kzinti Books should be identical as far as weapons goes (Drones Disruptors Phasers and Suicide Shuttle). This same Rule book probably would include every thing need to play the Tholian PC DD and CA in the base game. Orions are just going to be wonky because of their Stealth Bonus, Engines, and Optional Cloak but the weapons in the Klingon Book would cover their basics.

But over all I could see wanting to order a couple of copies for demos just so everyone doesn't have to look at the big rulebook just basics the basics.

The mini Rulebook having a abridged fleet list isn't going to change how I would use it as a prop at a demo. I will probably have some kind of ship cards or data sheets made up for the minis I bring. The books are to let people read up on weapons traits or special actions with out fighting over a hard bound book.

Yes, some kind of intro with just the rules, no ship stats, no background data, no pretty pictures, would be good.

Or since the rules are straightforward, a cheat sheet with a summary of the movement and fire rules, the sequence of play, special orders, and traits would be handy.

If you have a look around the forum, you'll see comprehensive cheat sheets for the current version of ACTA. There have been equally good ones made for the previous version. I'm sure that the new version of ACTA will lend itself equally well to being reduced onto a cheat sheet in much the same way!
