[ACTA:SF] Question about Critical Hit damage

I have a question. When a critical hit above level 1 is scored on the ship, and you take additional damage, is it resolved by rolling on the Attack Table for each damage point, or do you simply take that many additional damage taken without rolling on the Attack Table.

Example: A critical hit of level 2 is scored. In addition to the critical hit, one more damage point is required to be taken. Do I roll on the Attack Table, which might yield a Bulkhead hit, a solid hit, or a solid hit + Critical Hit, or simply take one more damage point?

Rolling on the Attack table makes the most sense to me, and is what I've been using in my games so far, but I wanted to ask if there was a consensus about this.

I at first thought you recieved extra hits which required you to roll on the Attack Table but, it clearly states thatyou recieve a number of extra damage points, which is the results on the Attack Hits. So you do not roll for the extra damage points scored of critical hits.

Got to admit when I first started playing the way you do Bill i thought to myself. Man this is a quick game, almost not worth playing it was so quick.

Greg is correct Bill.
If the Critical Hit rank calls for extra damage, that's exactly what it is... extra damage. You immediately mark it off.

And if you manage to repair a Critical Hit location andthen take damage there again, you score the extra damage again as well; even though extra damage points are not repaired when the critical hit is...
