ACTA:SF Product Listings on TGN

That's quite the bargain if you go for the Squadron and Fleet boxes if those prices are final. ~$6 each as opposed to ~$15 for the singles ?

Getting harder and harder to resist picking a bunch of them up for ACTA, even if I already have a bunch of ADB-scale ships (job done, Matt  ).

I'm guessing, as with Noble Armada, that the smaller ships are in multiples.

I'm guessing $39.99 is £24.99, but what is Mongoose's conversion for $99.99 in real money?

And when do we get lists of what is in the boxes?

I thought the box contents are meant to be identical to the ADB boxes.
The boxes which are intended to replace the existing Starline 2400 box sets are identical to the ADB ones (in this case, the Squadron boxes with 5 or 6 ships). Blister packs, well ADB currently sells three Federation frigates in a blister pack for USD $19.95, so it would be consistent if Mongoose did something similar. The Fleet Boxes are a new product intended to support ACTA:SF, so have no ADB equivalent.

Oh come on - give us some spoilers please - we are getting more infro from ADB

Onthe plus side - also heard today that the rulebook will have the ships and empires from Klingon/Romulan Border/Attack.

If it is out November we should be getting some serious spoilers in September/October to cheer everyone up, along with a launch event announcement (which I have a feeling will clash with a conference I have to go to).

I have heard similar rumours that that the initial ship selection is based on KB/RB. So the Federation, Klingons and Romulans should be well represented. The other empires in the first two Federation Commander products were the Gorns ("Arena"), Tholians ("The Tholian Web"), Orion Pirates (not sure which episode), and Kzintis (I think based on The Soft Weapon which appeared in the Animated Series). Plus some freighters and orbital bases.

Kzintis are from the animated series episode 'The Slaver Weapon' but first turned up in the Niven short story 'The Warriors' in 1966.

They were going to feature in the 5th season of Enterprise along with the Earth-Romulan war, but Paramount canned it just as it was getting good, with a final episode written by Berman and Braga as a giant screw you to the fans after a season of significantly better quality under Manny Coto.
