Can a Centauri ship with the Escort trait give interceptor dice to fighters, using the Guardian Array rule?

Was this ever answered? I am curious if this is true, than can the interceptor dice be used against anti-fighter hits (I am fairly sure that I saw in another thread that fighters supporting other fighters do not grant them an interceptor die so this would be the only way for fighters to currently gain an interceptor die)?

Escorts can give AF to fighters, so I don't see why not interceptors. But no they can't be used against AF trait.
