ACTA - Ending the game with ships that cannot move

What happens to a ship that has been reduced to Speed 0 (through damage or critical hit) at the end of a game?

End of game is defined as that point at the end of the turn in which victory conditions and/or game over conditions have been met.

Example, jjdodger's Corvan has been reduced to Speed 0 by way of critical hit, yet he managed to take out the last cargo ship on that turn. He cannot repair the critical. Due to Victory Points, I won the Battle. Does the Corvan get removed from his roster? Do I get VP and/or XP for it?

We have played it thus far that the game ends thats it - if you did not destory his ship its still his - odd though it may seem -

Yes he would still have the ship. It doesn't immediately blow up just because you got more VPs than he did After the battle the crew would have more time in which to make repairs, then get away.
