ACTA : Babylon 5

Depending on which fleets you're after, I may be able to sort you out. I still want to keep some of my fleets, but others I'd be willing to sell.

Edit: As for official supplies, I suspect anything left unsold would have had to be destroyed at the end of the licence unless it was part of Mongoose's private collection v.v

I have a box of rules and counters, but it isn't the newest edition.

Do you want me to dig it out?

For miniatures I'll ask around.

You should still be able to get copies of the 2nd edition rules and fleet lists through private sellers and such. Miniatures are trickier, but I believe AOG are still selling some of their old stock (the larger scale ships and fleet action fighters are the same as the Mongoose ships).

I think AoG still has fleet action stuff only, but email Bruce Graw and ask. However fleet action scale is perfectly playable, and I found it much better than playing using the larger ships, which are unwieldy on the table and some either require two bases or some sort of steel rod base.

Fleet Action is also cheaper.

I will have to check what version others in the area are using, I assume it is the newest version?

AoG says they closed in 2002!

Their webstore was updated earlier this year, and I bought a few ships from them about 6 months ago, so it's worth dropping them a line.

They did, with one month of notice. I was working with Kle on Raiders and Privateers 2 and on my own on Showdowns 9. I think we'd finished Raiders 2 and submitted it to go to the printers, and they we heard that AoG was shutting down, the licence hadn't been renewed and we weren't getting paid beyond what people who downloaded raiders 2 voluntarily donated (it was put up for free on the AoG website to download).

I was going through a very difficult time with my ex at that point (which happened a lot until 2006) and probably didn't give what was going on the attention it should have had.

But they still have stock, including B5 ships here:

I imagine you can find plenty of Babylon 5 Wars resources online if you look and fancy giving that game a whirl, and while it is a lot slower to play than ACTA, it is still much faster than SFB.

I loved that game. And sorry to take you on a trip down my memory lane. It's late and I'm a bit woozy from painkillers.

He is definately still selling. I just bought some stuff from him this week. He is going on another one of his bike trips soon, and will be gone around a month or so. I have bought stuff from him before. This will be my 3rd time. You can send him an email.

when i bought my ea fleet at the begining of the month, bruce emailed me, that his bike trip will begin on june 5th and he will be back by the end of the second week of july, he told me that if he will mail order out if it is place on the ist but not afterwards, until he gets back, my next order is the narns.
