ACTA Airship Combat

I want to see an ACTA system game ala Victory of sea set in a steampunk world of mongoose's own creation.

Think zeppelins, airships, and other air ships from different unvierses or genre appearing, like those form final fantasy, particularly the ones from XII.

Instead of fighters you can have by planes loaded with machine guns.

There could be different nations, a parody of this world, with more technology around the 18th century or up to WW2, or fantasy elements invovling summoner wizards on some ships summoning devil/angel/elementals/monsters or ships composed of parts or elements thereof.

Skypirates, wizards, steampunk, shiny fantasy boiler powered, proppeller leviated, engine blasting, machine gun bullet spitting fantasy flavoured miniature using airship combat!

*Gasps for breath*

Or Last Exile, or Aeronef, or Space: 1889...

It's a valid genre, and a somewhat underserved one at the moment. I would be interested, but that's probably a sign that Mongoose shouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole :? . Naomi Novik's Tremeraire (sp?) series would also fit in well: sailing ships in the sea, with dragons flying overhead.
 
I think it is a good idea, but Crimson Skies is a bit too more advanced for a steam punk genre. I suppose make it more fantasy like. I like the idea anyhow. It may be a fun side project to admit to Signs and Portents.

Undergrond evil cult with lots of money and people in hig places (Thule society)

An Alchemist Guild

A Russiany faction

An underwater faction (some other species)

Ghost Navy

Samurai Flets

Industrial revolution Brits

Some sort of American Faction

Anyone got ideas for these, names for factions or any other ideas?
 
The german republican guard. Expertly flown but small numbers
The Specail Soviet Airforce. Large numbers but well terrible
The Hell Divers. A cult harnessing hell for power.
The Defenders of Mankind. A religous group of fanatics.
Kamakazi. Bit like Giam.
Animals. A fleet of flying birds and stuff.

or my personal favourite

The Mutants. A group of mutated things with numerous abilities that can be bought and upgraded etc.
