A suggested monthly pay?

Just for a laugh I decided to roll up a Naval Character that, as A GM, I plan to use as, depending on the characters actions, either their best ally or worst enemy.

He served for 8 terms and ended as A Rank 5 Offcer/Rank 4 NCO. He his main skills and DM's are +3 each in Astrogation, Engineer -Jump Drives, Gunnery -Turrets, Mechanic and Tactics -Naval, +6 in Pilot - Spacecraft and +4 in Leadership.

He also has Cr 1,110,000 from cash benefits and a 5th Free Trader ownership, A 100% ownership in A 200 ton-Free Trader and 1 each of TL 10 Laser-Rifle, TL 8 Prototype Combat Armour and A TL 4 Rapier.

Now that I have fully detailed him what I want to know is what kind of monthly fees could he get as a semi-freelance pilot without using his Free Trader and the fees and percentage of the profits as a either the equal partner or 1 of the equal partners if using his 200 Ton Free Trader to allow more cargo to be carried in, potentially, high risk, yet very high return business venture

Well, I think he is far to qualified to fit into the local market stereotype. Such specialists are usually well known are receive offers far surpassing the usual quotes. He can quickly go to 5k+ per month to 50k per month. Perhaps even higher.

For non-risky work, use what's in the book.

For the 'risky' work, you'd have to tie that back to the overall risk and potential penalties. From his background he'd be smart enough to ask for more money the more risk he was taking, or the cost of the cargo he's transporting.

Make him a “Harbor Pilot” in a region particularly well-known for being hazardous to Navigators who haven’t gained a few years worth of first-hand experience in navigating the system. That should be appropriate for his skillset, and reap rewards commensurate with as much work ethic as he cares to have at any given moment.
