A new Traveller core book in the offing?

I'm wondering whether it is likely that a revised Traveller core book will appear this year. I apologise if this question has been asked and answered elsewhere. I'm thinking of picking up the book to warm up for Prime Directive, but if a new one is on the horizon, it would make sense to wait.

The current Traveller core book has already been "revised". New artwork and some errata issues. I posted a similar question a while back and the response was that there are no plans for a "Traveller II" or some such.

Based on the posts here, I believe that you can pull the trigger.
