A couple of quickies

Hi all just a couple of quick questions:
1. I just purchased Shadizar and I was wondering what is the deal with the replacement map and why (if at all) it is needed.

2. Will Conan 2nd Edition be backwards compatible - I just bought a ton of stuff for the Conan RPG and I want to make sure I can still use it or should I just buy a back up Main RPG book instead

1. Because the map included with the boxed set is plagiarized and does not reflect what was written in the text (I should know, I wrote the text). For example, the text claims Shadizar is watered through a series of wells and oases, but the enclosed map shows a massive river.

You can download a replacement map from the Mongoose site (the map I approved did not have a river, but Mongoose still added a river to the map after I approved it. Not sure why. Other than that, the downloadable Shadizar map was approved by me. At least the river is decently sized. I should probably write a waterfront-district for Shadizar for S&P since a river is continually being added to the map).

2. From what I understand it will be backwards compatible. The old books should work just fine with the new rules.

I would like to see such an article on the water/river front district (although it shouldn't be there, the river front I mean).

Personally Id rather see Mongoose come up with a map without the river and leave it alone.
