Just to let you all know, we are currently finalising the layout and art on three PDFs that will be released via Drivethru next week;

Special Supplement 1: Biotech Vehicles - an addition for the Vehicle Handbook, designed to bring really weird and alien vehicles to your games!

Terror's Lair - a bit of a departure for us here, a solo adventure for 2300AD.

The Tricolor's Shadow - a complete adventure for 2300AD that will see players caught up between the machinations of international politics.

They will all have a really low price, and we will be very interested to hear whether you would like to see more supplements like this.

Oh, and if (like me) you really are strictly a paper and book man, Drivethru will be able to do you a print version of any of these titles.

Got the Biotech Vehicles and the solo adventure. I really liked vehicles supplement. Can't wait to make a canine vehicle that shoots bees out of it's mouth. Solo adventure was short but fun. I figured out the mystery before my character did.

Looking forward to the books - as a fellow book man to another, Matt. How long till drivethrough converts them over? Any chance we could see an updated release calendar - I have no problems in waiting so long they are of high quality which I think consistently you do for Traveller - just people have to remember, it ain't your Granddaddy's Traveller. Glad to hear that Solomani is out this week. Looking forward to see how my ideas got in...as well as that of the Rim.

Can't speak for Mongoose, but I'll say that each of these PDFs is smaller than a printing signature, so it's not likely that they'll be available for print soon.

People will you please read - Mongoose is not likely to do a print compilation but Drivethroughrpg will do on Mongoose;s request. Looks great, save, the grav car on of the covers...that is for Traveller not 2300AD - cool picture but not 2300AD.

Here's one vote for the deadtree...

Honestly I buy everything that I can, BUT unless I can get it in hard print for my resource library I do not buy it. Now I have 36+ yrs of collecting Traveller stuff in my library. BTW the problem with buying something in a .pdf only style is IF or WHEN you have a hardware crash you will loose your files. They should always have a printed option if they want my money.

I've got limited storage space. Printing PDFs takes more shelf space than a typical book would. So I, too, will only buy the printed version.

I prefer to have BOTH, as nothing beats a real book, but sometimes I wish to take files with me to work on projects when I travel.

Having said that, if forced to choose, paper beats pdf every time.

D.

PS - I DO love the Bits & Mortar program. A win all around!

Now can we get rules to create Biotech Ships?

The words "Ancients," "biotech" and "Battle Dress" should not be said in the same sentence ... this will definitely be fun.

Unless that sentence is very long and includes one or more of the following:

Dear god what is that thing.
It’s coming through the bulkhead. (Scream and repeat several times)
Half the platoon is dead, it’s an ambush, there are two of them.
It’s getting up again.
Not even the (insert words "Ancients," "biotech" and "Battle Dress" here in any order) can take a FGMP hit.
Send in the tanks, they will stop it.
It’s tearing a hole in our hull.
Send help, we only have a dozen marines in Battledress here and it’s a (insert words "Ancients," "biotech" and "Battle Dress" here in any order).
Its a hundred thousand years old, how tough can it be.
Do you realise how much that thing is worth if we can capture it.
Maybe if we crash the ship on top of it we can stop it.
