5 skirmish, 5 raid, 5 battle, 5 war...

Disagreed. I don't want draw up 4 different fleets for 4 games, bring all those minis and record sheets with me!

But, 2 days and 5 Battle sounds cool.

28.5 War points EA (counting Warlock and Shadow Omega @ Armeggedon) not including my skirmish ships.

All you'd need to bring was a 10 Battle point fleet (kind of like a campaign game) you could then chop and choose what to field in all up-to a 5 point War, which would be everything. It is also good encouragement to take a balanced fleet.

I also have over 10 War Points of ACTA scale Minbari

I have also voted for the 2 day event, although the thought of bringing 4 different fleets is daunting.

I would go for the 5 points Battle option for all games, allowing for a good mix as well as not having to have all the sheets available for the different fleets.

It would have to be one day, sadly (same problem as Cpt. Kremen). Though as I've only done one tourny and that was Gencon, I guess I ain't a prime target.

Perhaps some regional tournys for those in far off foggy places? Maybe tempt Wulf to the competition circuit.

Te format I've used is to require one list, that you choose a fleet from before the game starts, with knowledge of the race your oponnent is playing.
it works well, with a 3-round format...1 skirmish, 1 raid, and one battle. Into the Fire looks like it was 4 rounds though, so may not fit as neatly. Very time-limited games, our Battle PL games took over 2 hours, but the skirmish were usually done very quickly. some as quick as 1 hour.

Try: 5 skirmish, 5 Raid, 3 Battle, 3 War.

keep with 5 5 point battles over 2 days, should get that in easy unless everyone gets patrol ships for all their battle points.

It's a good half-day trip in either direction for me (probably more like a day after I inevitably get lost after taking a wrong turning, or break down and end up being towed into Swindon by the AA), so making it a two-day thing would make it worth the journey, as well as giving me a pretty good chance of arriving before it's all over :)

Points-wise I'm all for 1 point Armageddon...
