I'm fine with it taking a while, I just want to have an idea of where exactly Mongoose stands. Staring at the "Processing" status is driving me nuts.

I got plenty to keep me busy with alot of other things as well. Still there is that sense of frustration. I think I will skip the pre-order hype from now on. And just buy it when its for real available. I could have used the money for something else weeks ago.

Generally pre-order implies priorty on shipping and reciept of the product. I believe that was the intent here. It appears several things happened (to me who is looking in through the frosted window), I think the pre-orders were much larger than anticipated (Matthew Sprange indicated this in an ealier post). But, I believe there is too much emphasis on mailing out mini's and not enough on getting the rules out.

I cannot get them for Christmas at this point, since I'm away working over the holiday weekend. Last night was my last day at home until Monday evening. But we have not even recieved a shipping confirmation e-mail on the rule book yet. So, after New Years looks realistic at this point. I'm sure the better half will inform me if they arrive on the doorstep or if we get our shipping confirmation. She gave me a substitute present that was almost as good (alright get your mind out of the gutter folks).

My FLGS’s distributor had noted they expected receipt on the 20th and had accepted the stores pre-order and normally that means they fill it as soon as they get product. Which also means it is possible it could be here in time.

So I have a small bit of hope……. :shock:

Just read the blog...hope crushed

But I still hope to see the book and the Fleet Boxes EARLY January. RustyCon is 20 Jan 2012 and I need time to paint my Klingons and the targe....errr.....Feds.

Any word on when the items currently listed as pre-order become available as stock items? (Working on planning my fleet building)

I was hoping to have my fleets painted by ChattaCon, but it looks like I'll be lucky to even have a rulebook by then. Much less the pre-ordered fleetss.
