5pt Raid Vorlon vs Vree?

So im playing a 5pt raid with my friend tomorrow he'll most likly be using vree so im curious how i should deal with them? was thinking of running 8 transports and 12 flights of fighters keeping the trans in two groups about 12 inches from eachother so that once the forces meet i can turn each group facing towards each other in the event he comes up the middle. because of their manueverablitity its going to be hard to keep them in arc once we're on top of eachother which is why i was thinking of having two groups attempting to cover eachother


any thoughts?

The fighters will do well against the Vree. Their 3" range can keep you out of AF range, and their AF trait will keep you reasonably safe from Vree fighters.

I'd be tempted to go for 24 fighters and the rest transports

Not sure I agree with your ideas on the fighters. The Vree can take escort ships and loan anti-fighter to their fighters as well. Just something to think about.

I a game that I recently played in, I couldn't use Anti Fighter from a ship to an opponent's fighter that was involved with my fighter in a dogfight. Does that rule change when the Anti Fighter is on a Fighter?

Escort's can loan anti-fighter to a fighter. This acts like it's own anti-fighter. Just before dogfights are resolved all anti-fighter that a fighter possesses can fire at the fighter starting the dogfight.

This is the only exception to anti-fighter not being able to target a flight involved in a dogfight.
