Also, from an RL point of view, most rescue copters have a 2 man flight crew as well as a winchman and one or more rescue divers in the case of water rescue. Co-pilot should stay in the co-pilot seat.

Oh yes, I mean the winch crew can be medics as well, and vice versa, but in something that size I see the winch crew more as stability and recovery of patients to bring them up to the waiting medic crew, then wading in to help the medics if they get overwhelmed or once all the casualties are onboard.

THe main thing is the aircrew, while they can have medical training, have one main job on missions, flying the aircraft.

I would say that makes crew 4 + 3 medics or Crew 7
