2300AD: Ship design Clarke Class Explorer

I thought it might be the Leonov, but there's no rotating habitat, that cuts the Discovery too. Is it the Nostromo??

EDIT: No, there's too many staterooms and labs!
EDIT 2: From the movie Prometheus???

Full marks to the man on the other side of the Pennines...

Well its something like the Prometheus just a much bigger crew... when I get a mo' a deck plan and model will come..

Are there any good shots of the ship in that movie? I watched a trailer recently, but there was no (human) ship

Please note that is the ship from the film and note mine. The clarke will be different and yes plans. Will come.

I look forward to your art and deckplans; my game can always use a new systemship or starship. You have a lot of fans out here lurking on the forums.

Looking forward to seeing the Clarke, will the subcraft be nicknamed Lois? :-)

Oh dear... That's so bad. That's Arthur C Clarke.... Heh...

Any how, current job in the dry dock precludes one from doing the plans for this, for the moment.

I did write a brief blurb...

The Clarke Class Explorer is a joint venture between The Royal Society, British Aerospace and several smaller organisations (?)

First ship launched was the Clarke launched 2285, followed by the Niven (2288), Anderson (2291) and Reynolds (2295), the Blish is currently being built due for launch in 2300 but maybe delayed due to budget issues. 2 more are planned (Robinson and Hope) and one is being built under licence the' Asimov' due for launch early 2302.

The Royal Navy and the USMC have show some interest in developing a military version..

Dammit, just realised this design is nearly 100 tons over... (easy fix, less cargo, some fuel and staterooms, maybe 80 ton hanger/garage)
