2300AD Invasion, Part 1: Errata

p5, first column, last sentence, "No hard proof of will be discovered..." It might be intended to be "No hard proof of the Ylii will be discovered..."

Page 200, he uses the term Doggerland for the colony, hence my note. The map still shows New Africa as the name, which is clearly an artifact from the original material. I don't really care if he changes the name or not, I just care that the name isn't consistent in the same document.

(But New Africa makes more sense than Doggerland, IMO.)
Even though Doggerland is how the first people made it to the British Isles?

p.118 "Traylor Arm M70 'Double-Tap' Tactical Shotgun" should read "Traylor Arms M70 'Double-Tap' Tactical Shotgun".

p.119 Molotok (Hammer) 60mm Mortar,
"Setup time is very quick, less than a couple of minutes." might read better as "Setup time is very quick, taking only a couple of minutes." or "Setup time is very quick, taking less than two minutes."

Also, "It can also be connected wirelessly to a comp running an artillery control software." might read better as "It can also be connected wirelessly to a comp running artillery control software." or "It can also be connected wirelessly to a comp running an artillery control software package."

p.120 Jaschonek Panzerfaust 93
There are five lines of data under the stat table that seem to be superfluous.

The cost entry for airbag recharge should read "Lv1200".

p.124 Whip
Should the reference to "baseball bats" in the second sentence of the description be "sceptres"?

p.126 Weapon table
The Kg entry for the Tri-Beamer is missing.

p.127 Scattergun
The penultimate sentence of the description reads "The missile is fired from a pre-loaded, disposable tube, whilande the launcher frame is re-used." This should read "The missile is fired from a pre-loaded, disposable tube, while the launcher frame is re-used."

p.138 Augments, second paragraph
"It is unknown if these techniques could be applied to human but..." should probably read "It is unknown if these techniques could be applied to humans but..."

Appendix E
The Planetary Data tables for Kimanjano, Nous Voila, Joi, Beta Canum, Hochbaden, Dunkelheim, Aurore, and Adlerhorst have a Stutterwarp Wall entry, but the Planetary Data tables for Nibelungen, Beowulf, and Kie-Yuma do not.
In addition, the Stutterwarp Wall entries for Beta Canum, Hochbaden, Dunkelheim, Aurore, and Adlerhorst have a different character replacing the colon and an additional entry (with no data) marked Discharge Altitude.

p.170 Third paragraph
"The 2297 alien attack on Arcturus Station, followed a year later by a trike on Aurore,..." should read "The 2297 alien attack on Arcturus Station, followed a year later by a strike on Aurore,..."

p.174 The Beacon
Buddhist is spelt incorrectly as "Buddist", and Baháʼí is the correct spelling rather than "Baha'i".

p.207 Dunkelheim colony entry, final sentence

p.214 St. Bendit, During the War entry
"Vogelheim itself never came under attack,al though Kaefer spy ships..." should read "Vogelheim itself never came under attack, although Kaefer spy ships..."

Page 105. There are nine Kafer suzerains, not eight. They are not truly independent but all part of the Kafer Associative.

The political situation is a bit "Game of Thrones." Each suzerain controls territory within the Associative (The Seven Kingdoms), and one suzerain is acknowledged as the leader of the Associative. We are dealing with a rebellious leader using humanity as pawns in a power play for the "throne." The Associative is thus:

On page 127 under the Scattergun entry, it says "whileand" the launcher frame is reused.
It should probably read "while" the launcher frame is reused.

That's how you spell "Käfer" if you're using an OS that makes typing umlauts more of a pain than it should be.

In English, umlauts are ignored, like acutes, thorns etc.. Käfer is properly rendered as Kafer in English. I know this infuriates German speakers, but that's how loanwords are transliterated.

In the game, Kafer is how the name for the Vah (their actual name) was rendered for non-German speakers, and how it is spelt in-universe. The explanation was given back in 1986:

"The official French name for the race is Les Capuchons (literally The Hooded Ones). The troops providing security for the squadron and contact parties was a mostly Bavarian battalion of the 2nd Regiment of the Foreign Legion; they called the aliens Kafer (German for cockroach). The term was quickly adopted by the rest of the French military. When hostilities broke out, the term originally used by the legionnaires became universal."

First contact with the Kafers went differently in the original boxed set. The Kafers and French explorers met at Arcturus, and the German speaking security detachment from 2e REI gave them their common name, with Kafer as a loanword.
