You should find it is a direct fit, with 2300AD already listing the (relatively few) differences and conversions. 2300AD was written very much with the Robot Handbook in mind.
Yea Geir knows his stuff and understands both internal and line rule concepts. I hope he’s the one that does the rewrite of the vehicle handbook as it is now it counters itself and the line in both rules and mongoose lore. The core concept is good but implementation fails. Shoot half the vehicles in other products of the don’t follow the VH’s design system and it’s not the other products fault.
