Hello all,
The Corsair component costs are correct as shown on 1st ed. CRB/MRB p. 129. Unfortunately, the price for a single beam laser is Cr1,000,000 according to p. 111 not the Cr500,000 listed on the Corsair's datasheet. Pulse lasers are Cr500,000. The simplest fix is to change Beam Lasers to Pulse lasers.
According to the Corsair's datasheet the ship has tanks holding 104 tons of fuel to make one Jump-2 and operate the power plant for six weeks.
Jump Fuel tank = 0.1 x Hull tonnage x Jump Distance
Jump Fuel tank = 0.1 x 400 tons x 2 =
Jump Fuel tank = 40 tons x 2 =
Jump Fuel tank = 80 tons
104 ton fuel tankage - Jump Fuel tank 80 tons = 24 tons for power plant fuel.
From the table at the bottom of 1st ed. CRB/MRB p. 107 a Power Plant F requires 12 tons of fuel for two weeks of operation. According to the Corsairs datasheet there is 6 weeks of power plant fuel. If my calculations are correct 6 weeks of power plant operations requires 36 tons of fuel. Weeks of fuel require 24 tons of tankage.
The easy change would be to change 6 weeks to 4 weeks.
