1E to 2E

Well thus far they haven't even guven us the promised 1E to 2E convertability so I wouldn't hold out hope for that.

So then, what are the incompatibilities between 1E and 2E? They're the same game system, right? If so, then surely the delta can't be as great as that between two different systems... just a bit of a push here, a tweak there... right? Right? No??

They're d20/OGL ish, but the vehicle combat and manoeuvre system is changed, skills and feats have been changed in a few cases, equipment/weapon properties have been altered.

It's not impossible to convert, but we were promised compatibility and haven't had it yet, what little conversion material we have had is a small step along the way.
