15mm Ship plans

Is there a resource for 15mm Deck plans on the web? I have found a bunch a RPG now but looks like they are all for 25/28mm.

Many many moons ago a company called FASA produced 15mm deck plans. Try searching on "FASA Adventure Class Ships". Volumes one and two. Also "FASA Merchant Class Ships" and "FASA Aslan Mercenary SHips". You might find them on Ebay, but will likely be costly. I kept them out of nostalgia - they are quite well done - and am very glad that I did so since I am starting my MGT campaign today.

Will you be printing the deck plans?

The beauty of printing them is that their original scale does not matter. Just rescale them to the size you want and print.

For 30mm resize to 50% and print.

For 28mm resize to 54% and print.

For 25mm resize to 60% and print.

If you want to get fancy use this formula:

Ymm/Xmm=Resolution Multiplier

then multiple the original resolution by the multiplier.

So, original is 28mm at 300dpi and you want 15mm.

28mm/15mm= 1.867

300dpi*1.867=560dpi

and print at the new resolution for 15mm.

As an aside, all of the plans are available on CD from Marc Miller's site here, too.[/url]

They are also available on Drive Thru RPG:

An excellent candidate for tinyurl.com :)

http://preview.tinyurl.com/25rywml

(I prefer the preview one for safer clicking)

From 213 characters in the original to 34 characters in a couple easy copy/paste/clicks :)
