This is bad news indeed. I would've bought the Atlases in a heartbeat and I would have been very interested in both of the new Conan rpgs. Let's hope the license holders change their minds! :evil:
This sounds really great! With the exception of the often missing maps I think the Conan RPG is of high quality. Wouldn't mind a rulebook in full colour though... :)
Hi everybody, recently finished reading the Conan 2nd ed rulebook and now I have some questions.
1. Page 169-170, How to calculate an Attack Bonus for melee: BAB + STR mod + Size mod + other applicable mods.
So, according to the table on top of page 170 if a creature is "large" it gets a -1...
No news on a "deluxe" version of the 2nd ed Conan rulebook? I would buy it ASAP if it was in colour like the Atlantean and without problems like pages falling out...
Please Mongoose, I am sure many people feel like I do. Conan is the greatest fantasy hero, give him a proper great rulebook...
I wouldn't mind paying 60$ for a full-colour, problemfree (top binding and printed on quality paper) rulebok.
The current B&W one is terrible, I refuse to buy it. :-(
Finally our local RPG store here in Stockholm has the new book for sale. I was looking forward to buying it but when I saw it in the store I was really disappointed. It looked very "cheap" I must say, not at all living up to my expectations. I'm definately joining the club "Give us a Collector's...

I like it. Less action-packed than Conan & Thak dancing but it looks better, IMHO.
