We're still playing a mega battle about once a quarter. Even had some new people buying fleets in the last year or two. This is still the best large scale space combat system I've used. I'd be interested in a points system as the priority level is still something players struggle with.

All it needs is a "buy the author a beer" link for us to click.

Don't really think starter Psi characters are worth it unless you are going to play a campaign where they can get better. I'd take two rookies instead.

All mine are 500 point gangs, but pretty standard to do two heroes and fill up available points with minions. Each gang has unique bits that make choices fairly obvious. For robots I always take a Demo droid hero, a tooled up servo hero with spit gun, and fill with robo dogs and maybe a...

Yeah, if Bleed really is worked out on the 10" range the only time you'd bother is if you had to take an early turn shot at something with a full complement of phasers.

Just trying to clarify my understanding. Do I have this correct? Plasma Torps: A Plasma Torpedo-F has 2 AD and a range of 16. Does energy bleed mean that from ranges 0-8 it does 2 AD, 8-12 1 AD and from 12-16 range it has 0 AD ? Similarly a Plasma Torpedo-G does 3 AD for 0-8, 2 AD for 8-12...
