    Plastics for Victory at Sea!!

Quote:You are correct about the WoW models...I cannot wait to see what they do with WWII. Are they going to do a WW2 range for Dawn of War? Very cool!! I have bought this game on the strength of the WoW game :) , but have not played it as yet..... :(

    Plastics for Victory at Sea!!

No offence to W.A.S, but their ships are rather toylike.... I was leaning towards some nicely sculpted/ CAD multi part models in hard styrene. I am not talking about having a kitset of 105 + parts, but a model with perhaps a hull, superstructure and weapons on the same sprue. Perhaps even sold...

    Plastics for Victory at Sea!!

With the proliferation of high end 28mm plastics which are being produced at present, would it not be cool for some one to produce some high quality plastic vessel's /fleets for WW2 Naval - Hell, ship plastics full stop!! I am not knocking the excellent craftsman who produce many a fine metal...

    Painting & weathering IJN ships

Hi, model ship newbie questions.... I am almost ready to paint my IJN 1/700th ships up. I was going to spray them with Tamiya IJN gray (TS-66) and do the decks wooden deck tan ( TS-68 ) then give them a light wash of Citadel chesnut brown to try & bring out the relief detail followed by dry...

    VaS with 1/700th

Its funny as some of them are not aware that you can play a wargame that has miniatures that you have made yourself that dont have a bolt gun and a multi las cannon - plasma combo hanging off its arm with Teleport as an ability

    VaS with 1/700th

Pre paints!! How cool would that be :D I have dusted off a whole stack of 1/700th ship & aircraft kits I bought in a rash " Heres another wierd project to stack in the shed for a later date" moment..... Most are IJN & very nice kits indeed. My mate has some Royal Navy & Germans lurking...

    VaS with 1/700th

Is anyone out there mad enough to be playing VaS with 1/700th plastic kits? Me & another crazy are toying with the idea due to the profusion of nice relatively cheap WW2 kits available on the market at present.
