>>It certainly helps low level unencumbered combatants with reach weapons against higher level but encumbered combatants who lack reach.
Although Fighting on the Run does draw attacks of opportunity if you pass through an opponent's threatened space, attacking with a *reach weapon* can keep...
>>I think you might mean "two-handed Broadsword" instead of "warsword".
Yes, you are absolutely right. I don't have my rulebook in front of me, so I just guessed. Honestly, I don't even remember for sure if 'warsword' is even a weapon type in Conan.
>>Ain't that a heck of a thing.
Yes...
>>Just keep in mind that the bonus from Power Attack can't exceed your BAB. Otherwise, things could get a little to freaky.
Yeah, I know. I was thinking more in terms of a two-handed warsword chop that could also be finessed.
>>Is there even room for that many mooks within 30 feet of a given character, without surrounding him to begin with?
That could be where I cheated. I thought that this result was a little broken. The mooks are based on American pennies rather than honest 1" squares -- and we play freeform...
I believe that the original edition allowed characters to move, make an attack, and then continue to move up to their maximum standard move. I was able to use this rule to make a stunning effect recently.
The other day, I GM'ed a game wherein a gaggle of 1st level mooks were able to knock...
I agree that the healing is pretty outrageous. I just figure that since the PCs are epic heroes like Conan they are either supremely tough, crazy lucky, or both.
We give GMs an average amount given to the players at the session.
Dr. Skull actually has a pretty arcane and detailed experience system worked out in which he gives out poker chips that are redeemed at the end of the session for XP. Even when someone else is the GM, the Skull gets to be the...
It sounds goofy, but I typically use a baby names site. Here is one that allows you to sort the names by origin, so you can build a load of names that come from a specific place.

The character I play is a Shemite eunuch. I know of no rules associated with a eunuch character. We use it quite a bit in roleplaying, though. Whether it is nobles just assuming that I am someone's servant, or the fact that my character eschews a night of whoring for a good book.
I thought those months looked familiar! They were developed by the nefarious Dr. Skull and his crewmates. We do not yet have RoK so we only used twelve years in the cycle, so perhaps we'll adopt yours instead.

As one of Dr. Skull's players, I enjoy reading how other groups of players faced nearly the same challenges. I know for a fact that they tickle the good doctor. Keep sending in adventure logs!
Do you all read our adventure logs before trying out a Dr. Skull adventure? Do you ever have any...
I'll admit that I would prefer to sell the entire lot, but I suppose I could part with half the pygmies for half the price. Let me get some better pictures posted, and if you are still interested maybe we can do some business.
I don't want to part with them for less than $50 + shipping for all the work I put into them. I can't say that I painted them wonderfully, but it took a really long time and it was really amazing when I started to put them on the table. After fighting the little guys in small skirmishes and...
There is a new adventure module up for download at Dr Skull's Conan cult. It's called "Headless" and is meant for levels about 2-4.
The player characters are hired by a Zingarian merchant/nobleman to steal a map from a heavily guarded manor of a Stygian expatriate. The heroes find the map...
