This subject is a bit harsh! We don't know the reasons for the cancellation of the line - I suspect we never will. Yes I'm not happy about it, but we should see some refunds so that's better than nothing (such as Jessops, HMV, Woolworths, Blockbuster to name a few) AND the reprints are still...

It is a long time to have pre-ordered a book. I hadn't realised it was 5 months!! Was this the book that was delayed by a change in the illustrator, or was that another one?

Resurrecting an old thread, but the question is still relevant. Matt - if I were to re-order books 1 to 4, would they come with the flat spines (so the original releases) or a round spine like the other books? Also, have they been amended with the relevant corrections?

Just checked the release schedule - it says "printing" and a January Street Date. Ok so maybe they won't make January, but early February is a possibility. Book 19 could be awhile off - though I would hope it is ready for this year!

Thanks for the update Matt - much better than wild speculation! Looking forward to the rest of the books - hope they aren't too long in coming, but the main thing is that they come at all. Let's hope the world recession, and notably the UK one, end pretty soon for all our sakes! :D
