    Matt Wagner's Grendel, after the rise of Orion and the Grendels are, well, Grendels. And Space, Above and Beyond would be great. A single setting book is all that would be required.

    Yes I do. I also think Traveller would work well with Scourge of the Gods. And I much prefer that setting to UW1.

    Peter Hamilton's Commonwealth Saga especially set during Pandora's Star and Judas Unchained. (I havent started the Vod Trilogy yet) Cole and Bunch's Sten Series.
