    Yes i forgot to add metal stapled was the best binding. Easily repaired or even improved. The old books could have new bits added.

    The original size of Trav was great. Went in the pocket fine could be held with one hand easily. Cross referencing books was easy too. I always thought the big hard back format was for posers. Still do.

    Since none of the game has been ironed out since Old Traveller what is the point in me buying yet another variation shot through with holes? I dont have time or budget to buy them all and pull out the best bits so i'll stick with my ancient books that still work.

    I think planetside cargo transport is more likely to be sailing ship and airship for ecological reasons especially on high pop industrial worlds. Otherwise some planets would not have lasted as long as they have in the present Traveller Universe and the Empire would have collapsed far earlier...
