This would be an excellent idea. Even if it wasn't workable, it would be good if somebody could run an interview with Joe Dever about his thoughts on the game - and maybe some of the other people involved with the creation of LW as well. :)

You can download them in pdf for $25 for all 12 books (that's about £14) on John Grant's website. The actual books sometimes turn up on eBay or in second hand bookshops, but some of them are quite hard to find. I've got an old second hand copy of books 1 and 2 that I came across entirely...

I'm going to Manchester tomorrow (well, today really :D ) - I'll see if I can pick it up there.

It's officially out according to the Mongoose main site, but have yet to see it in any of my usual games sources. Won't be long now though :)

Naval rules would be cool. In the meantime, I'll probably improvise something should I try running the plot of book 2 in the RPG. :)

Did they have those in Masters of Darkness? About all I can remember is that the Darklords had iron warships with cannon, and I haven't yet got that far in my great Lone Wolf re-read.

Just out of curiosity, how powerful are your PCs? Lone Wolf was canonically 8th level - I can only assume yours are more powerful than that with an 18th level boss to fight. :)

I'm liking the book 19 map (the detailed map of Sommerlund). My copy of that book should be coming soon, with any luck. :D
