Indeed, I think there is a lot of rich material and potential for an RPG series being made by Mongoose. I know the show is now sadly no more but can still tap the fanbase by making an RPG now rather than later. Just a thought.
Plus, its an excuse to introduce elements into the Stargate...
Hmmm, I know this is ages ago... but whatever happened to this anyway? I was quite curious to see the different special forces for the various races. Was searching google about articles on B5 and stumbled on this old topic again :p So, anyway, what happened? Can the material still be released?
Sorry for resurrecting this but I thought better to resurrect an old topic than to start a new one. I did make a second thread after this one but since this is the original one, thought I would go for this. Second thread is here...
I think later seasons of Stargate would have a lot of potentially personally. Mostly cause civilians are more actively involved and there are tonnes of plot points to see beyond the military one. SG-1 showed that corporations and companies were secretly involved in reverse engineering alien...
Been done before I think several times but thought its time for it to be mentioned again  Anyway, how about Mongoose getting a hold of the Stargate franchise and doing an RPG for it? I know Alderac Entertainment did it but that was ages ago now and so much has happened in the Stargate...
I know it was made before but since its sunk to the depths of the forum I thought I should try again. How about an RPG based on the Andromeda universe? Its full of material that could be expanded upon and plenty of things to write up.
The plus sides for such an rpg?
*A rich diverse universe...
Oh man that sounds so cool :(
You think I could bribe Matthew with sweets or something to allow him to reveal the juicy details? :D Real shame, I really got into the Starship Troopers universe again after watching Roughneck Chronicles and playing through a bit of the Starship Troopers...
Not sure where to post this as there is no Starship Troopers subforum anymore. Anyway, don't worry, this isnt a question about what happened to the game or asking why its stopped.
My question is, before the line was discontinued, I remember hearing from the Miniature front that there were plans...
The way I see it, the Hand were a First One race who were telepathically dominated by the Thirdspace Harbingers who used them along with other races as a slave army until they were defeated. The Hand were one of the few races to survive the telepathic domination and became influenced by that act...
Thirdspace might be a good book if you want information on them. The Lurkers Guide to Telepaths has some information on the Mindriders also.
Darkness and Light also has information on the Shadows and Vorlons as well as their history.
I wouldnt mind being one, I mean if there was ever trouble then you have a battlecrab to bail you out  but yeah see what you mean. Thanks for the answer. :)
EDIT: Oh and if you want, you can add my list to yours.
Problem with that comparison is we know almost nothing about the Gardeners though I think they are far, far older then the Zener so possibly them. Also, remember that the Zener are scientists so they are unlikely to end up in a battle as such.
